About NeQix
Yes, the name is intentionally ambiguous.
If you landed here because you saw a @neqix.com email address, found an old link, or were simply curious what NeQix means, you are not alone.
The short answer
NeQix was designed to be short, flexible, and to mean absolutely nothing in particular. That was the point. It could be used for commerce, infrastructure, testing, dashboards, project work, or whatever Roger Seher was building next.
The domain was registered on June 14, 2007, so like Roger, it has a few years under its belt. It is not even the oldest domain in the collection, but it has become a useful home base for behind-the-scenes work.
Why this site exists
Roger has built and managed a wide mix of online projects over the years: e-commerce stores, educational sites, booking pages, forums, product pages, niche websites, landing pages, and experimental systems. At one point, he had more than 350 domains registered.
That kind of history is useful, but it also creates operational clutter. Domains end up at different registrars. Sites get hosted in different places. Billing accounts change. Old systems keep quietly renewing. New projects need somewhere to live.
NeQix is being rebuilt as part homepage, part infrastructure hub, and part backend workspace to help bring some order to that pile of digital history.
What happens here now
Today, NeQix is used for project organization, deployment testing, domain tracking, operational dashboards, and infrastructure notes. It is intentionally simple, because simple static websites are fast, inexpensive, and easy to keep alive.
It also works alongside projects like AskRogerSeher.com, which gives people a better way to reach Roger without publishing direct email addresses all over the web.
